Biography

Over 30 years of experience in the ICT business, senior management, and leadership for both industry & consultancy. He is best placed to provide excellent advice and guidance to projects. As an IT manager at Oman Refineries, he was the first to implement and certify the ISO 17799 (now ISO 27001) for the Oil & Gas sector in the region.

Mr. Hilal is also Certified as an Information Security Manager (CISM) and Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT). Both competencies are highly relevant to any organization. Under his guidance, the project not only meets the objectives and scope but will also provide added value by addressing the practice areas which are not always written down in project scopes. At ORPIC, he was managing the Internal Audit Department.
